Album Review: Volbeat / God Of Angels Trust
The ninth album, God Of Angels Trust, is due to be released from Volbeat next week and although it has been four years since their last release (Servant of the Mind), I can assure you that the wait has most definitely been worth it!

ABSOLVA / JUSTICE 16/5/25 Album Review
A band that never sleeps, Absolva are forever on tour, releasing music or involved in side projects. This new album has a ’Tombstone’ theme, the movie being a major influence and it’s being released after the road antics with Ronnie Romero, Phil Campbell and Blaze Bayley.

Album Review: Game Over / Face The End
With four studio albums under their bullet belts along with a healthy touring track record that includes sharing the stage with Megadeth, Testament, Overkill, Destruction, Sodom, Tankard and other heavyweights, Face The End - the latest album by Italian Thrashers Game Over - is well worth turning the dial up to 11 for!

EP Review: Jozey & The Corruption / Being Number 2 Sucks
With an opening track that hits like a perfectly timed left hook, Being Number 2 Sucks from Jozey & The Corruption is a testament to the hard rocking life with a healthy side of punk aggression and just a hint of sleaze.

RONNIE ROMERO / ABSOLVA KKs STEEL MILL WOLVERHAMPTON 6/3/25
A lot of us were coming out of hibernation for this treat of a gig tonight. ‘Ronnie Romero’ is gracing us along with his band and the former ‘Rainbow’ man must be one of the top vocalists ever billed to perform at KKs. It’s the first night of the tour and the room is pretty full for the Chilean singer, support comes from the Manchester metal band ‘Absolva’ who are promoting their new album ‘Justice’. I catch up with a few friends, chat to my photographer mates and then find a spot near the barrier, to witness this superb line up.

Album Review: Behölder / In The Temple Of The Tyrant
Here at MMH like to get to get our teeth into something a little different, and the album In The Temple Of The Tyrant from Behölder certainly offers that! With a monstrous serving of doom and dark power, this debut album from Behölder is a fantastical and magical sword wielding musical journey into the world of Dungeons & Dragons (D&D).....

WRATHCHILD Feat ROCKY SHADES / STILL HERE IN THE FREAKSHOW EP 17/2/25
I was sat in a biker bar in Worcester on a Saturday afternoon, must have been around 1982/83, it was packed with local gangs mingling over pints and discussing the latest bikes. When in walked ‘Wrathchild’ in stack heels and full stage gear, they’d just finished a signing session or something near by.

The Devil Wears Prada Live Review 21/02/2025
Overall I came away from this show thinking "God damn I love metalcore" and if that isn't a testament to how good all 4 bands were, I don't know what is!

ENEMY INSIDE / VENOM Released 28/2/25
A German band from Aschaffenburg that formed back in 2017 by Nastassja Giulia and guitar player Evan K (Mystic Prophecy, Exit Eden, ex-Cypecore)’. Enemy Inside’ supply symphonic and experimental rock, with huge riffs of bullet proof metal. This third album follows the well received ‘Seven’ from 2021 and vocalist Nastassja states: "This album is about evolution. It captures where we are as a band now while staying open to what's next. "Venom" feels like our most authentic work yet." There are Eleven tracks on ‘Venom’ some featuring guest artists, expanding the innovation. I’m new to this band, however after the initial listen, I simply had to share my thoughts.
