Every Thursday from 6-8 pm GMT | 7-9 pm CET | 10-noon PST | 1-3 pm EST I’ve been listening to alternative music my entire life, with my first influences coming from my parents. I’d listen to Aerosmith and Guns N Roses, then years later sitting in my cousin’s car while they played me Evanescence and Good Charlotte. From there I forked out into metal core when I was in year 10. Since I was young I knew music would always be close to me and play a very big role in my life, and so working along side it is more than a dream come true. I now spend most of my time listening to Motionless In White, Rammstein and Architects. Hi, my name is Tony Heare and as well as presenting ‘The Eighties Rocked’ every Sunday 2pm-4pm here on MMH Radio, I also have the pleasure of doing the ‘100% Proof Breakfast Show’, live every Friday from 8am-10am. The Breakfast Show used to be live Monday to Friday and had reached 750 shows, before cancer stopped me in my tracks and I couldn’t commit to it. However, I was asked to come back, initially for one live show every Friday and I’m glad I agreed to it. The show, as before, will feature classic rock tracks, current bands and the pick of brand new releases and your requests are always welcome – just e-mail thebreakfastshow@mmhradio.co.u Every Friday From 8-10am GMT | 9-11am CET | 12 – 2am PST | 3-5 am EST I grew up with classic British rock in the early Seventies, bands like Purple, Sabbath and Zeppelin. Deep Purple’s ‘In Rock’ was the album that really got me into this type of music and my first real gig was seeing the Coverdale/Hughes version of the band in 1974. Many years later, after punk and hair metal had come and gone, I went to my first festival at Donington in 1991, seeing the likes of Metallica and AC/DC in a live environment. That convinced me to try my hand at radio Welcome to the classic Jukebox curated by the crew at MMH. The original tub-thumper of Terrorvision, Shutty brings you classic rock from the ’70s, ’80s, and a few from the ’90s, with the odd curveball thrown in! There’s always something to say about each track with the occasional comment/story from back in the day, so wake up and rock! Shutty’s Stuff is officially the start to your weekend; let’s make it a right rockin’ good time. Every Friday from 4-6 pm GMT | 5-7 pm CET | 8-10 am PST | 11 am – 1 pm EST Grew up in Keighley in West Yorkshire, always liking loud noises and bright lights. On my 15th birthday at a Motorhead gig in Leeds (1st ever gig) I got confirmation that Rock Music played FAST & LOUD and creating chaos, is definitely the way forward in life! Always finding a way to go to as many gigs as possible and learning all about Rock ‘n’ Roll, I got a drum kit in 1983 and hooked up with a couple of like-minded friends to create noise…following a couple of line-up changes ‘Masquerade’, ‘Spoilt Bratz’ became Terrorvision in 1990 and then signed to EMI Records late 1991. After a good ¼ of a century, I decided I’d had enough for a while but still kept my hand in Rock ‘n Roll. Midway through the 2000’s years, I was playing the Cajon for an acoustic group with 2 lasses from Castleford called the Florins, playing beer festivals all over West Yorkshire. Then I decided to try my hand at being a Heavy Rock ‘n’ Metal DJ – HELLO!! Over the years, Tony’s had the good fortune to go to some amazing festivals, from Monsters Of Rock at Donington to Hard Rock Hell and Steelhouse. The camaraderie of the fans, no matter which band they follow, demonstrates a friendly, good-time atmosphere. Tony’s first festival was Donington Monsters Of Rock in 1991, with AC/DC top of the bill. He recalls walking around the site at about midnight in the freezing cold and buying cheap festival t-shirts just to keep warm, watching Metallica on the back of their ‘Black’ album and an out-of-place Queensryche. These days, we have the ultimate festival in Stonedead: nine bands in one day on one stage bringing a host of classic rock to the fans at an unbelievable price. StonedeadRadio@MMHRadio.co.uk

Every Friday from 8-10 pm GMT | 9-11 CET| noon-2 PST | 3-5 EST Born and bred in Birmingham I grew up the sounds of Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy and Motorhead and my passion for music developed from there. I couldn’t escape it if I wanted to; Dad was one part of The Band That Stopped the War, mom was an artist eccentric who settled into the melting corners of the Jabberwocky after a decade in the musky art scene of 1950s NYC, and my older brothers dragged me to punk shows as early as 1980. Psychedelic relics and old school punk cultivated my taste and broadened my spectrum. If it’s doomy, radically-minded, feminist, loud, abrasive, and a little bit evil for the fun of it, I’m in. Fridays 12 AM GMT | 1 AM CET | 7 PM EST Let’s see… I toured and made albums with legends like Jon Oliva, Hansi Kursch, Zak Stevens, Tim Ripper Owens and more. I signed deals with major labels. I sang songs on stages to thousands, and I played to friends over a beer or ten. It was always about sharing the passion. A passion started in 1989 with an Iron Maiden album that I liked the artwork and begged my parents to buy the cassette. As I grew older, I became a cat person. He is a regular compere at rock festivals and recently supported The Wayward Sons and The Last Great Dreamers. Now in his forties he openly listens to Poison and is unashamed in this (a little). You can catch him on his ‘Not in this dinnertime ‘ tour across the UK and at a rock festival near you From 11 – midday every Saturday, The Early Bird is here to make your morning metal. Grab a brew and wake up with Tina C. as she spins everything from classic rock to new releases and a bit of chatter over morning coffee. Saturdays 11-noon GMT | noon-1pm CET Contact Tina C. at tinaculbertson@mmhradio.co.uk I was 9 years old when I discovered rock music, sitting in my living room (probably playing My Little Pony) when I heard this amazing sound coming from the TV, it was 1987 and Def Leppard were performing their hit single ‘Animal’ on a weekly chart show called ‘The Roxy’. I got up and stood right in front of the TV the whole time they were on. I couldn’t believe my eyes and ears, the long hair, ripped jeans, twin guitars and even a one armed drummer! Every Saturday from 2-4 pm GMT | 3-5 pm CET | 6-8 am PST | 9-11 am EST I’ve been a Rock lover as far back as the 80’s. A show firmly entrenched in fast and furious rock and metal with a few surprises along the way. Music from the likes of Ghost, Within Temptation, and dare we even mention Okilly Dokilly? I’ve been a DJ since 1979, back then I did a Christmas Party with a Hitachi hifi and I played singles on the turntable and then switched to tape that I had got from grabbing the UK Top 40. Worked for a number of Hospital Radio Stations and did a number of Mobile DJ gigs. Always loved music in all forms. I’m late coming into the Rock Scene but I know what I like anything from Zeppelin to Disturbed and everything in between. Every Saturday from 8-10 pm GMT | 9-11 CET| noon-2 PST | 3-5 EST It was a dark time, called 1995, indie and Brit Pop ruled the radio as fellows in ill fitting parkas sang badly about champaign. Then a random meeting involving Our Price, some friends and a bargain bin filled with Megadeth, Metallica and Senser would lead me into another world. 23 years later I’m still there but with added beats from hip hop and electro! Nails were my gateway to discovering the goth and industrial scene, visiting clubs like Underworld, Manchester and Slimelight, London. A few years later I started DJ’ing my own goth /industrial night in my home town Stoke, and later Nottingham. Tune In. Turn On. Burn Out. Tune in for two hours of classic rock and metal from 1970-1989 (with a lengthy overlap on either side). Every Sunday midday – 2 pm GMT | 1-3 pm CET | 4-6 am PST | 7-9 am EST In June 1978 I was 12, like every Thursday night I started to watch Top of the Pops. This episode was different, so different it changed my life. For on the fateful evening Noel Edmonds introduced the next act on to the show, it was AC/DC playing Rock n Roll Damnation. I still don’t know what it was that grabbed me, but whatever it was it never let go. I became so obsessed that my dad bought me the 7” single that weekend shortly followed by the songs mother album“Powerage”. As Big Ben struck at midnight on 31st December 1979, rock fans everywhere were excited to see and hear what the new decade would bring. Throughout the next ten years, we had hair bands, thrash, glam metal and many other sub genres. 1980 itself was a golden 12 months for rock, with 70s bands like Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, AC/DC and more releasing pivotal albums in their careers. That’s what ‘The Eighties Rocked!’ is all about. Every Sunday from 8-10 pm GMT | 9-11 CET| noon-2 PST | 3-5 EST The Blues is not the easiest thing to define in my book as it is more about an attitude than just a style of playing and many many bands associated with many genres have included Blues songs in their repertoire. I love exploring The Blues from wherever it originates and can’t wait to share my favourite tracks with others. I am also in a band myself and I get a real buzz out of playing live. Happiest when playing guitar. So happy that there is still so much music The Blues has its roots in the Deep South United States, dating back to the 1870s and drawing from African musical traditions and subsequent African American work songs and spirituals. Since its inception, blues music has grown, blossomed, and been soaked up by its followers almost like a religion. From Mamie Smith and Robert Johnson to Eric Clapton and Ruthie Foster and from B.B. King to Shemekia Copeland, blues is no longer just cries of pain to the soundtrack of a twelve-bar riff. It has evolved and grown and diversified and is now attracting more new listeners than ever.

However I don’t get Death Metal Dancing With The Dead brings you as much new music as DJ Ben Jekyl can squeeze into two hours on a Saturday night, regardless of the genre. No frills, no bobbins, just tunes. Heresy is a two-hour show presenting a solid mix of goth, post-punk, industrial, and other sub-genres in between, from the ‘80s to today. Tune in and join Adam “Adz” Thomas when you can expect to hear bands like The Cure, Skinny Puppy, Fields of the Nephilim, and many other classics alongside new releases. Every Saturday from 10 to Midnight GMT | 11-1 am CET | 2-4 PST | 5-7 EST My first musical interest was the grunge movement, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Nirvana etc. 1991, I had cassette with Nirvana’s Nevermind on one side, but what a friend put on the other side is what really grabbed me, Nine Inch Nails – Pretty Hate Machine. Nails were my gateway to discovering the goth and industrial scene, visiting clubs like Underworld, Manchester and Slimelight, London. A few years later I started DJ’ing my own goth /industrial night in my home town Stoke, and later Nottingham. Tune In. Turn On. Burn Out. The Jukebox is a mix curated by the staff and deejays here at MMH! We have brought together all our favorites to share with you between DJ sets. You’ll enjoy traditional metal to industrial, prog to punk, gothic to thrash, black to doom, classic rock, alt-rock, and metalcore! We might even throw in a little nu-metal for good measure. Enjoy the lighter side during the day, where you can stream at work, and then we go heavier in the evenings so you can wind down properly. Thanks for tuning in, everyone! We are so glad you’re here. A recent review in the acclaimed Stockport Tabernacle declared Skid’s House of Loud as “the mutterings of an utter buffoon by the only man who makes Alan Partridge sound classy.” With praise like that, why wouldn’t you tune in and join Skid rip his already ruined reputation further into shreds! Every Sunday afternoon, here on MMH Radio, you can join Tony Heare for two hours chock full of the best hard rock and metal from all corners of the globe without leaving your chair, reliving great memories of a time that many people derided, but that actually gave us superstars who produced epic albums that still sound good to this day. 2pm-4pm is the time, Sunday is the day, MMH Radio is the place and Tony Heare is your guide – be there! Every Sunday from 2-4pm GMT | 3-5 CET | 6-8 am | 9-11 am EST I grew up with classic British rock in the early Seventies, bands like Purple, Sabbath and Zeppelin. That convinced me to try my hand at radio The Lost Art’s Steve Gould focuses on all aspects of progressive rock, including exclusive interviews and new, unreleased music from around the world. Old, new, and classic are all catered to, so join the fun and get your Prog-Head on!
Every Sunday from 4-7 pm GMT | 5-8 pm CET | 8-11 am PST | 11 am – 2 pm EST

Quite late getting into music, as parents weren’t that bothered, most of my childhood was spent listening to Music For Pleasure albums (75p from Wollies boys ‘n girls !!) – “Geoff Love and his Orchestra Play Big War Movie Themes” ‘n all that shit….. Then, Secondary school I was introduced to “Pictures At An Exhibition” by ELP – blew my mind, have been a Prog Head ever since… The Jukebox is a mix curated by the staff and deejays here at MMH! The Blues Cruise is a voyage through a wealth of underground and lesser-known blues artists. Whether you like old school like Delta and Chicago Blues, more recent rhythm and blues, or some unadulterated blues-rock, you will not be disappointed. Mr. B gets out and about to discover what’s new and what’s hot on the blues scene at local venues, bringing you the latest about bands to follow. The blues is alive and well on MMH – The Home of Rock Radio, so join Mr. B and explore the best the genre has to offer. The blues Jukebox will lead you through the history of the blues, so sit back, turn up and enjoy!
