With a well received debut album already in the bag, White Skies are prepping for a follow-up and major tour. Founded by vocalist Mick White ( Samson / First Strike ), guitarist Ray Callcut ( Ya Ya ) and keyboard player Pete Larkin ( Double Cross / Dante Fox), the AOR/Melodic band have rocked it up on this latest offering.

The opening lines –

I started out with nothing, a stranger caught in time

I opened up my eyes and saw the rain

But seeking affirmation, I tried to walk the line

For a generation filled with shame

As you listen to ‘If This Is It (Get Ready)’, it’s soon apparent that the guys have compiled a very tasty piece. Above the robust bass lines by Rob Naylor, the riffs and solo’s from Ray are evenly paced, allowing the song to move without any disturbance. Then Mick adds his velvet lined vocals. If you like your music polished but without the frills or messy distractions then ‘White Skies’ are for you. Stick their music on the dash when you’re driving, they’re perfect for that long journey into the sunset.

The video was shot, edited and directed by long term friend and videographer James Ross Heron from Carriage Return Media Services in an old mill in the beautiful village of Barley in Lancashire and uses Hippotizer generated graphics to enhance the performance of the guys in the band.
