They thrilled everyone at Firefest a few years ago with debut album “Time Elevation”, and then followed this with the hugely successful album “Idolizer”, but today sees a slightly different line-up of Swedish band Grand Design return to AOR Heaven with new album “Thrill Of The Night”, which is released today and is a collection of rousing 80s influenced anthems and ballads that will once again cement the band’s reputation as one of the best in the scene.

Once again produced by singer Pelle Saether and now featuring full-time guitarist Janne Stark (2nd from the left), who had originally guested on the debut, “Thrill Of The Night” is Grand Design at their very best. In fact, this album definitely takes the band to a whole new level, musically, song-wise and also in regards to production. The album is packed with potential hits and choruses that you will wake up in the middle of the night singing! From the opening chords of “U Got Me Good” and the anthem “Rawk ‘N Roll Heart Attack”, right up to up-tempo rocker “10 Outta 10” and the big, epic ballad “When The Greatest Love Of All Kicks In”, this band has really hit the button.
