Native to Cambridge (but married to a Midlander and always up for some metal) Andrew “Raggedyman” Watton-Davies has been a DJ on the local alternative scene for 15 years, being involved in the running of Club Octaine, Bump-N-Grindhouse, Sacrilege, Noise Bastard and now PsychoCandy, as well as guest DJing for a varitey of other peoples nights. Encouraged to start writing his thoughts about music on his own blog, rather than yelling them at random people, he got a spot as a guest review on Midlands Metalheads by writing kind words about Flesh Eating Foundation and appealing to JohnESmoke’s love of defenceless animals.
His main musical loves are industrial, punk, blues, alternative, psychobilly, rock & roll, noise, thrash, pop, rock, film soundtracks, metal, and anything else that is passing by and he gets a chance to listen to. And TISM, because more people should know about them. He also puts words on pictures from time to time.
Send him music and he will listen to it, then write words about. Or give him a discussion point and he’ll wax lyrical about it.
