Comedy rock kings PSYCHOSTICK have just unleashed ‘So. Heavy.’, their heaviest of heaviest videos ever with the most intense cookie cutter vocals to burst your ear drums!
“So. Heavy. is a favorite from our latest album in all it’s over-downtuned glory.” says guitarist Josh ‘The J’ Key. “We felt it was a worthy video to launch our Patreon, which has been going very well. If you want to help us make more ridiculous videos like we have been, then please support us on Patreon!”
PSYCHOSTICK‘s Patreon campaign allows fans to make pledges to the band to produce videos more frequently plus give exclusives and behind-the-scenes access to everything they’re working on, as well as supporting the DIY band and their video production group.
In additional news, PSYCHOSTICK are returning for their second UK tour and they’re bringing their friends, the legendary Green Jellÿ for the ‘PsychoJellÿ Tour’. The tour will be from September 13th to October 1st to satisfy the hunger and bring more of ‘Beer’, ‘Obey The Beard’, ‘Dogs Like Socks’, ‘Bruce Campbell’, ‘Do Want A Taco?’ among many other tracks to be performed live for the fans!
Green Jellÿ (pronounced “green jello”) started more than 30 years ago and has had over 400 band member changes, plus has sold over 2 million records to keep fans still knocking heads!
The band has had hundreds of members during its lifetime, with Bill Manspeaker the only consistent member throughout. The lineup during their most popular album release, ‘Cereal Killer’ is typically referenced as it contained several musicians who went on to appear in other major 1990s bands, such as Danny Carey and Maynard James Keenan of Tool. Green Jellÿ is best known for ‘The Three Little Pigs’, a #1 selling single on Billboard with a Grammy nominated music video.
Formed in 1981 in Kenmore, NY, by founding member Bill Manspeaker, the band was originally named Green Jellö, but changed the name due to legal pressure from the owners of the Jell-O trademark, Kraft Foods, who claimed that it was an infringement of their trademark. Throughout the early 80’s, Green Jellÿ performed throughout New York, opening for bands like the Ramones and New York Dolls. Their reputation for over-the-top live performances and food-hurling audiences got them banned from most local venues. A full bio can be found here.
