Rising alt-rock five-piece PHOENIX CALLING will be releasing their new single Everybody Knows on the 2nd February, the first to be taken from their forthcoming album Forget Your Ghosts.
Check out the video for Everybody Knows here:
Forget Your Ghosts follows on from the band’s Waves EP, packed with huge sing-a-long anthems and inventive hooks. With a title that alludes to what has happened in the past but sees a clear view of the future, Phoenix Calling demonstrate a real musical growth that delivers a gritty edge and sees movement in a promising direction.
Taking influence from the heartfelt and honest lyrics of Deaf Havana, the melody-driven song structures of Mallory Knox and the power and drive of Fightstar, Phoenix Calling encapsulate the elements that make the British rock genre so profound and deliver a refreshing take on a winning formula.
The quintet will be hitting the road to perform a series of shows in support of the release, with more to be confirmed in due course.
Current tour dates are as follows:
Friday 6th March – O2 Academy, Birmingham.
Saturday14th March – Proud Camden, London.
Friday 20th March – Esquire’s, Bedford.
Wednesday 1st April – Portland Arms, Cambridge.
Friday 10th April – The Met Lounge, Peterborough.
Further details of the band’s forthcoming album Forget Your Ghosts will be announced soon.
