Critically acclaimed North East rock band Not Now Norman are pleased to announce the release of the first single, ‘Why Don’t Ya Like Me?’ from their second album ‘Go Hard Or Go Home’, The artwork was designed by Jack Nassau, an ex-college friend.
This song was inspired by one of many trolls that Taylor-Grace receives on the internet over the years of starting Not Now Norman. She said. “Many have been related to my looks or because of my gender, but this one was different from the rest, in that it was actually creative. So after silently questioning (what I can only assume is) this persons bizarre knee fetish, I decided to write a song about it and other trolls that I get. This time however, rather than going to my usual ‘angry’ style, I decided to laugh about it. When I was recording it, I got my best friend to record and collect people reading out some of the comments.”
The single was released on Friday, April 12th, 2024 and will be followed by more singles throughout the year from their second album ‘Go Hard Or Go Home’ due out in late 2024.
