Critically acclaimed North East rock band Not Now Norman are pleased to announce the release of the second single, ‘Who I Am’ from their second album ‘Go Hard Or Go Home’, The artwork was designed by Jack Nassau, an ex-college friend.
Taylor Grace – ‘This song was originally about the horrors of PTSD and abuse, but after its first recording I decided to rewrite it to suite the upbeat-aggressive nature of the track. Half way through re-recording and rewriting it I had a flashback which is where it ‘freestyles’ a bit. The song is about looking to all the traumatic things you’ve been through and realising how far you have come as a person. And how through shear spite and determination, you’re still here telling the universe to ‘fuck off’.’
The single will be released on Friday, July 5th, 2024 followed by more singles throughout the year and their second album ‘Go Hard Or Go Home’ in late 2024.
To celebrate the release of the single, Not Now Norman will perform at The Giffard Arms in Wolverhampton, supporting The Hot One Two on Saturday, July 19th, 2024. See poster below for ticket details –
