Purpose of Role

To assist the radio station by uploading current news on the website and sharing on social media.

Main Tasks

• Blogging at free will
• Uploading news to the website
• Sharing news on social media
• Making sure all news is current
• Checking emails daily

Qualities, skills and experience that are useful for this role

• Confidence with computers
• Driven with social media skills (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram)
• Knowledge in WordPress beneficial but training can be provided
• Efficient and reliable
• Background knowledge of rock music (all genres)
• Team player
• Support the aims and goals of Midlands Metalheads Radio
• Promoting Midlands Metalheads Radio when attending live events as a representative

Availability

At least 4 hours per week.  Ideally someone who can give up to an hour per day (Mon-Fri)

Expenses

Unfortunately, MM Radio cannot provide travel expenses to events.  However, MM Radio will arrange guest passes to events where possible.

Location

Mainly working from your home.  Various locations for reviewing live events.
