After months of planning and hype MPF2016 is finally here. Are you excited yet?
We’re incredibly proud to announce that we have sold out of all tickets for the festival. This sadly does mean that if you haven’t got a ticket yet, there will be none available on the day. But if you have got a ticket – you’re in for an absolute treat.

After all the celebrating of selling out the festival and getting things finalised, it seemed only fair that something would jump out and bite us. We’re devastated to announce that Atlas Losing Grip have had to pull out of their slot at Manchester Punk Festival, for the very heavy reason of the fact that they’re breaking up. We are delighted to announce that Germany based band Straightline will be making an appearance, their first ever show in the UK. We are really happy to be able to find such a good band to step in at this short notice.
Also – unfortunately Gut Model have had to pull out of the Thursday at Retro Bar, but fear not, we have replaced them with Big Machine – from Manchester. Playing fast, heavy, short thrash songs with all the noise in the world. Do not miss these.

We are ecstatic that all three days of MPF2016 will be streamed live by Bird Attack Records. Those of you unable to grab a ticket before they sold out will be able to watch loads of the bands playing live all weekend!
This is a huge deal for us as we have a great amount of respect for the work that Garrett and his team do for bands of all different levels. Based in Jacksonville, Florida, Bird Attack have a solid roster of some of the best bands from around the world and do a lot to help these bands get their music heard across the globe.
The team that will be working with us have vast experience in this area and have worked at length with Punk Rock Holiday and Groezrock, two of our favourite festivals, so you can imagine how excited we are to have them on board.
You will be able to watch the stream across at the Bird Attack site.

With so many people coming together in Manchester over the festival weekend we thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to give something back to our great city. Unfortunately we live in a country where an increasing amount of people are struggling for food and basic sanitary items.
It would be amazing if you could bring a food bank donation for Mustard Tree on the Saturday of MPF. We will be running a tombola with prizes donated by the bands and labels involved in the festival.
Each item donated will gain you one ticket for tombola prize draw with a chance to win.
Each stage will have a limited capacity, we’ve sold enough tickets for every stage to be at it’s maximum capacity. If there’s a band you really want to watch, we’d suggest getting to that stage in good time. This is especially important for the Thursday night gig.
