Kiefer Sutherland – May 2026 – KKs Steel Mill, Wolverhampton

Kiefer is perhaps best known for a long and highly successful acting career. Alongside that he has also developed a new career in the music business with his blues/americana/country/rock. Three albums in, and his fourth album ‘Grey’ due for release at the end of May, Kiefer is already a seasoned musician and frontman. He is currently on tour in the UK, having already played many sold out shows across Europe.

Tonight he was in Wolverhampton, at a full KKs Steel Mill. After an entertaining support from Irish singer/songwriter Colin Andrew, Kiefer came on stage with his band and treated the audience to a collection of songs – heartfelt songs like American Farmer, about the struggles of being a farmer in today’s economic and political climate, and personal observations like Chasing the Rain, about life as a touring band. More uptempo songs such as Something You Love allowed the band to have a little fun on stage, and it is obvious the band, and Kiefer in particular, really love performing in front of a live audience. This is not a vanity project but a bona fide group of musicians playing quality music.

The set comprised several songs from existing albums. six new songs from his forthcoming album (including the aforementioned American Farmer), and a couple of covers in Marshall Tucker’s Can’t You See and Phil Collins’ In The Air Tonight, both getting Kiefer’s unique spin on them.

All too soon the night was over, but everybody went home happy.
