It’s all got a little quiet around here, hasn’t it? It’s time for that to change.
In an effort to shake off those lockdown blues and bring a little life back to the music scene, suffering as it is during these times, the team over at Iron Road Talent Management have decided to do something a little different. On Saturday 18th July 2020, from 6:30pm, Iron Road Live @ Your Social Bubble will be available to broadcast online LIVE from the safety and comfort of your own home. This four-band lineup of rising rock talent will be headlined by the incredible Wolf Jaw, who are fast proving themselves a force to be reckoned with thanks to their uniquely explosive take on rock ‘n’ roll. They will be joined by main support Hollowstar, themselves riding high off the success of their eponymous debut album and recent single release. Completing the bill are south coast hard rockers Black Tree Vultures, and a healthy dose of modern rock from openers False Hearts.
The event, hosted by Pete K Mally and Nat Asteria, was conceptualised as a way to help #KeepMusicLive, giving fans the true live show experience (and bands a paying gig) in spite of the current situation. In line with this ideal, the evening will feature not just live performances from the four bands in question but also media interviews ahead of their set and an audience Q&A to follow. Fans will be invited to comment throughout the night with the best questions being posed to the bands as part of the live stream event. Music is, after all, about the community.
A short pre-show featuring industry interviews and some fun backstage footage will precede the show from 6:30pm, with the first band being introduced shortly thereafter. Full lineup information and set times can be found on the official Iron Road Facebook page.

Wolf Jaw – A show-stealing three-piece consisting of lead vocalist and guitarist Tom Leighton, bassist Dale Tonks, and drummer Karl Selickis. Wolf Jaw’s combination of raw power, passion and nostalgia has created a sound that’s described as “Thunderous Rock’n’Roll” by their loyal fans and reviewers alike. You can be sure that every time this power trio hit a stage you’re in for a rollercoaster of riffs, solid grooves and choruses that will have you singing all the way home and forever more; they make sure you don’t forget them in a hurry.
Surging into the top five in the ‘Best New Band’ category at Planet Rock’s 2019 awards, Hollowstar are carving out their own route to the top, paved with hard-hitting riffs and cemented by melodic yet inherently impactful lyrics. Drawing upon a diverse range of influences to create their signature sound, the band’s highly- honed music and Joe’s impressive pipes are entrenched in classic rock, yet rather than just idly regurgitating their influences, Hollowstar’s sound is decidedly fresh and engrained with theirown personality.
Black Tree Vultures – Recently described by Classic Rock Magazine as “Manly No-Bullshit beef with a modern edge”, Black Tree Vultures have made serious headway across the U.K. and European music scene, playing their original music on what is described as “The Never Ending Tour” across countless cities including London, Birmingham and Edinburgh. The band’s four members, Celyn Beynon (Lead Vocals), Aaron “Ham” Hammersley (Lead Guitar), Ched “Cheese” Cheeseman (Bass) and Jonno Smyth (Drums), have managed to create a raw sound that certainly screams power.
False Hearts – False Hearts manifest a melodic yet hard-hitting sound which has captured the attention of music fans across the country. Comprised of vocalist/guitarist Emma Hodgson, lead guitarist Ali Westwood, drummer Adi Bowes and bassist Phil Benton, False Hearts create their distinctive brand of modern rock inspired by bands such as Halestorm, Shinedown and The Pretty Reckless.
