New Album ‘Alternate Realities’ Out 18th March

Danish Rock quartet H.E.R.O perfectly balance a unique fusion of hard rock and authentic pop. Armed with catchy melodies, imposing production and an honest reflection of lead singer Christoffer Stjerne’s own experiences, the band edge ever closer to the release of their anticipated third studio album.

The bands new offering ‘Lead The Blind’ sees them team up with Philip Strand, lead singer of Swedish rock heavyweights ‘Normandie’. Together they transform the single into a hard-hitting anthemic rock anthem.

H.E.R.O front man, Christoffer Stjerne’s elaborates:

“I come from a religious family, and as I broke away from the religious environment, a series of confrontations with my whole family started. The record is in no way about religion, but about the trauma and let-downs, I experienced, when I had to cut off all contact with my family. ‘Lead The Blind’ is about seeing oneself in a new light, trying to navigate in a new reality, in which you have never existed before. The title is – without us thinking about it initially – a bible quote, which turned out to be strikingly fitting for my situation.”

Since H.E.R.O. formed in 2014, they’ve made a name for themselves as one of Denmark’s most uncompromising bands insisting on their own brand of hard, infectiously melodic, and stadium worthy rock music. The band released their debut album ‘HUMANIC’ in 2019, from which the single ‘Superpowers’ landed at number 1 in the Japanese international chart for four weeks consecutively. H.E.R.O went on to tour with legendary rock icon Slash and embarked on their first headline shows throughout Japan and Denmark.

Their new album ‘Alternate Realities’ which was produced by notable producer Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Amaranthe) will see H.E.R.O release their most hard-hitting work to date.

‘Alternate Realities’ is set to be released via Mermaid Records on March 18th, 2022.
