GagReflex release ‘My Disregards’ single and video from their upcoming album, ‘A Mouthful Of Marbles’.

Rising from the ashes of a band that imploded while trying to write the most complicated songs known to man, the two men of GagReflex settled on a brave, defiant and altogether simpler approach; bass and drums were all that was needed to brew a fresh blend of punk rock. Something to leave an odd but addictive taste on the palate.
‘My Disregards’ is the first single released from ‘A Mouthful Of Marbles’, the debut album from Gloucestershire-based punk rock duo GagReflex.
The band serve up a delicious slice of fresh, bombastic, bass-heavy goodness in this track, propelled along by a lyrical theme of helplessness, mental health issues, and the associated unwelcome attention from the medical and religious worlds. The accompanying video sees this story played out in a claustrophobic environment; our ‘victim’ becoming progressively more unhinged as the story plays out.
‘A Mouthful Of Marbles’ delivers ten tracks of noisy, spikey, infectiously melodic, math-punk from the same mould. Written and recorded over a three-year period, it marks the start of the band’s relationship with Swindon’s Secret Chord Records and represents a statement of intent from the band: 2017 needs to prepare itself for GagReflex!
‘A Mouthful Of Marbles’ is released on 27/01/2017, and is available to pre-order now from https://gagreflex.bandcamp.com
