Coffee Jingle Records Sign Dead Happy
Debut EP “Banana God” Due out in Jan/Feb 2015
Dead Happy are a Freaky Disco Metal band from the West Midlands
Initially an idea between lead singer “Zami Daniels” and an old friend in 2008, Dead Happy wanted to mix the sounds of Enter Shikari and Job For a Cowboy.
Zami made the backing tracks and his friend to make the guitar parts, though Zami made the backing tracks for what would become the Dead Happy Band the guitar parts never surfaced. Zami looked for another guitarist but after poor response Zami decided to do everything himself and thus created the Dead Happy Band.
An influence of Mindless Self Indulgence and Nine Inch Nails, amongst others.
At the start of 2014 Zami found the multi instrumentalist Jamie Hough and the two formed the basis of what Dead Happy is now known as, an eccentric fusion of electronic metal madness!
On the 15th September 2014, Dead Happy signed with Small Southampton based record label “Coffee Jingle Records” and are set to release their debut EP “Banana God”
