As the scorching summer waves through the UK, it means that Bowling For Soup’s Jaret Reddick highly anticipated UK return is quickly approaching. After his original Heartache and Hilarity tour just over twelve months ago, Reddick will be returning to our home for five shows on the Heartache and Hilarity Too tour, before setting off to Europe for even more shows.
Although he isn’t alone, Reddick wants all his fans to know that some very special guests will be joining him for the Heartache and Hilarity evenings. Reddick’s longtime friends and Californian collaborators The Dollyrots will be tagging along, who you may remember from the their previous UK tour’s with Bowling for Soup. Kelly and Luis have just completed a handful of dates on the last Vans Warped Tour and will be playing some shows stateside before gearing up for the Heartache and Hilarity tour
The Dollyrots recently released the music video for “Mermaid” off their 2017 hit album “Whiplash Splash” below:
Alongside The Dollyrots will be Lacey, who joined Bowling for Soup on their “How About Another Round” tour in early 2016 and are currently working away at their latest eagerly awaited album. Hitting the road with the likes of Mallory Knox, Motion City Soundtrack and many more, Lacey drummer Dave Pearson is very eager to once again hit the road with Reddick, he said:
“Touring with Jaret and the BFS family is always the best time and we feel very lucky to have been invited back – we’re excited to rework our songs acoustically to tug on a few heartstrings, and to hear some of Jaret’s stories – none of which we hope are anything to do with him getting us embarrassingly drunk on tour buses and cruise ships…”
Lacey’s most recent video was the standalone single “Answers”, which was released last year:
