Hailing from Hampshire, Season’s End are returning to Bloodstock Festival, they are playing the Sophie Lancaster Stage, Friday.

Season’s End are one of those bands that once you’ve seen live you want to see over and over again, after a long hiatus they are playing the odd gig here and there so if you can see them you must.

I first saw them playing at the Thirteenth Day Festival back in 2005 and a few times after. They have a dark, deep atmosphere to them that I love.

Their debut album ‘The Failing Light’ is still to this day one of my favourite albums that I hold proudly in my CD collection and I’m still waiting for the follow up that’s been years in the making.

If you like what you hear and you are going to Bloodstock be sure to check them out.

Band of the day chosen by Angela Goncalves, Head of News.
