ANGELUS APATRIDA, the hard-working Spanish Thrash Metal commando, is ready for a new attack as they are currently finishing up the last details of their anticipated new album via Century Media Records. The same creative staff that worked on the band’s previous two studio recordings, “Clockwork” (2010) and “The Call” (2012), has teamed up with them again for this new effort: Entitled “Hidden Evolution”, the album was once again recorded in Moita, Portugal at Ultrasound Studio with producer Daniel Cardoso (Anneke Van Giersbergen, Anathema, etc. and will be released on January 19th, 2015.
The band states; “It’s been the hardest recording work we ever done, but we couldn’t be happier about how it sounds. Inspiration for the music in this album came from all the experiences we lived through on the road during the last two years and the result sounds more elaborated. There’s some of the hardest and fastest stuff we ever done, but also some of the more melodic stuff we ever composed. Working with Daniel and the people from Ultrasound Studios has been killer as usual. Moita is a small, cozy and quiet town close to Lisbon, and it’s been the third time we recorded there. Their narrow streets made of stone, the beautiful river and decadent squares feels like home; the perfect home for us, a place to away from other things and fully concentrate.”
