Sweet Crisis, Skam and Gun
Rescue Rooms, Nottingham
A Three header this time at the rescue rooms. Both Support bands made a big impact on the growing crowd on a Tuesday ( A Skule Nite ) !! 6:30 doors meant that Sweet Crisis had to make the best of small gathering, but that said they put together an excellent set. Leicester based band, Skam seemed to bring with them a following of loyal fans. This gave them a better reception from the crowd… Oh boy and they didn’t fail to deliver. the bass Player, Matt Gilmour could entertain for hours with his exotic gurning !!!
Finally Gun hit the stage, which by now was bathed in smoke and magenta lighting !!!!! Dante Gizzi walked arrogantly onto the stage clad in a heavy grey leather coat soaking up the atmosphere before launching into ‘Let It Shine’ and then that old favourite cover ‘ Word Up’ by Cameo. The crowd obliging by joining in on the singing.
A great night of Classic Gun, finished off with ‘ Fight For The Right (to party)
